Bloodhunt is a new battle royale game rooted in the Vampire: The Masquerade universe that was revealed during the Summer Game Fest. It takes set on the streets of Prague and allows you to mix weaponry with vampiric abilities while engaging in large-scale battles with other bloodsuckers.
This is the debut title from Sharkmob, a new Swedish firm comprised of former AAA developers. According to the company, they worked closely with the developers of the tabletop RPG to guarantee it seems realistic.
In the teaser, we see several types of vampires fighting, leaping across roofs, and using supernatural powers. The game will also feature ranged combat and the standard battle royale feature of a constantly diminishing play area.
Keep an eye on PC Gamer for a more in-depth look at the game shortly, but in the meanwhile, watch the video embedded above. Bloodlines 2 is still a ways away, but it’s planned for release later this year, with a closed beta in July, so you won’t have to wait long to immerse yourself in the world of The Masquerade.
