Review : My Name

My Name is 2021 Korean Drama on Netflix. The story is about a woman who joins an organized crime ring and infiltrates the police as an undercover agent in order to find out the truth about her father’s death. Genre; action/drama/crime. To be honest, this series is good but not good enough to be great. The storyline is interesting but at some point, it started to get draggy because the pacing is very slow with multiple times of the same flashback scenes. Besides, there are some unnecessary romance scenes that doesn’t really add up to overall story. If you are a big fan of Korean films, you have probably seen “The Villainess’’ which has almost the same protagonist’s origin story and the plot twits are also very identical. Nevertheless, it is a well-made series. The casts are doing amazing. Han So Hee is gorgeous and powerful at the same time. Plus, the action scenes are tense and very emotional. Overall, I rate this series 6.5/10. Recommended for everyone who wants to see female lead in actions.
